Proportional Representation

Our train isn’t moving dangerously fast.  In fact, we have never elected one single member to the state legislature in our quarter century as an established party in Missouri.  We won’t elect a representative until we change how legislative seats are filled.  Neither will the Greens or the Constitution Party, or any other third party.

And Republicans who vote in Democratic Party districts will continue to spin their wheels, as will Democrats who vote in Republican Party districts.

I remind Republicans who feel comfortably ensconced in the capitol building for many years now, it wasn’t always that way.  There were decades when Democrats ruled, too.  It could happen again.  You might want to implement Proportional Representation to fix that problem while you have the chance
